Plant Health Care Program

Plant Health Care (PHC) programs aim to proactively keep your trees healthy so they can avoid entering a decline spiral. A proper PHC program includes frequent inspections, identifying the root cause of potential issues, and targeted treatments for most potential problems to ensure the longevity of your trees. The objective is to maintain or improve the landscape’s appearance, vitality, and safety using the most effective and environmentally sensitive practices and treatments available.

Just like no two landscapes are the same, and client objectives can vary, there is no standard PHC program; however, PHC programs have common features. PHC involves monitoring tree and shrub health, allowing problems to be detected and managed before they become serious. Pest management treatments are timed when diseases and harmful insects are known to flourish, preventing them from worsening and doing more damage.

PHC programs may involve monthly inspections and treatments of your trees and shrubs. The monitoring frequency and complexity of your PHC program depend on the size and diversity of your landscape and your particular landscape goals. Depending on the needs, a plan can be developed for a few critical trees and shrubs or the entire landscape.

Each PHC program is individually designed to fit the needs of a particular landscape. We will provide you with information about your trees and shrubs that will let you make appropriate management decisions for your goals and budget.
